KLAA AM830 - Broadcast Continuity Coordinator - KLAA AM830 - Flagship Station for The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Anaheim, CA)

AM830 is the flagship radio station for The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.  We are currently looking for an organized, efficient and responsible individual to fill the role of Continuity Coordinator.

Purpose

Reporting to the Traffic Manager, this position is responsible for the overall coordination, scheduling, and assignment of copy/audio content for the production department.

Job Duties

  • Act as backup to Traffic Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of all related tasks concerning a client(s) production needs.
  • When requested by client, process airtimes and send to them via email or fax.
  • Creates reports for Sales Management regarding missing copy/copy received and overall copy status.
  • Duties include entering and modifying copy instructions for local, regional and national sales orders.
  • Reviewing and revising production orders for distribution to our commercial production department.
  • Coordinate copy and production orders for both terrestrial and internet streaming station.
  • Enter and revise all promotional schedules.
  • Prepare production orders for promotional schedules.
  • Review and approve recorded promotional commercials before airing.
  • Create and revise the weekly station programming rundown.
  • Distribute the weekly station programming rundown to Sales Department, Management Team, Production Department, Promotion Department, and Traffic Department.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience with Radio Continuity preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are mandatory.
  • Multitasking, flexibility and a positive outlook are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills are required.  Must be able to work exceptionally well with team members and sales people.
  • Strong computer and organization skills are required.  This includes MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Prior experience with Marketron, Onyx and Skyview a plus.
  • Must work under time constraints and understand deadlines.

The DodgerVision Production Crew member will be responsible for working multiple positions within the DodgerVision control room during events at Dodger Stadium. We are seeking applicants to be part of a pool of staff to draw from for various positions including, but not limited to: Stage Manager, Chyron Lyric Pro, POV/Robotic Cameras, hard and RF cameras, EVS Replay, ClickFX Crossfire and Utility.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide support for in-game production by performing tasks necessary to fulfill sponsorship requirements
• Bring daily ideas for new and creative ways to entertain the crowd during live games
• Ability to run multiple positions within the control room

• Minimum of three to five years’ work experience in professional live event production

Broadcast: Producer
Assistant Producer - Oakland Athletics (Oakland, CA)

The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Producer.  This position reports directly to the Director of Entertainment/Production and is responsible, but not limited to the following:


• Responsible for hiring, scheduling, training and supervising all game day staff
• Develop and create all content and live production of Athletics games
• Responsible for managing ribbon boards, social media and L-Bar during all games
• Responsible for managing the production department’s media, back-ups, tape archives and corporate sponsor and scoreboard messaging
• Assist the Director of Entertainment/Production in creating daily game logs and scripts


Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2 years production experience
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Advanced knowledge of non-linear editing (Avid Media Composer)
• Experience with Media Manager/Logger
• Live Production /Control Room experience a must
• Training experience is a plus
• Experience managing large quantities of media a plus
• Experience with a professional sports team is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines
• Ability to work in independently and in groups is a must
• Candidate must be available to work all home games including nights, weekends and holidays
