Job Purpose: The Data Architect will be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing and implementing BI concepts, data modeling, data warehouse, reporting and dashboards. The Data Architect reviews, analyzes and modifies database systems including relational database and installation to support the applications systems of the organization. This role relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with business process owners to understand the business need and develop technical solutions that integrate existing and future applications into the organization's information systems.
  • Must have technical experience with SQL, ETL, OLAP and Multi-Dimensional eXpressions (MDX).
  • Support various database (including cube) within the data warehouse.
  • Proven communication and problem-solving skills are critical to successful performance in this role.
  • Have understanding of integration services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services and SQL 2008.
  • Generate SQL Database reports from existing database using BI tools (Tableau).
  • Logical and Physical Data Modeling experience using data modeling tools.
  • Design, develop, implement all ETL processes.
  • Have experience with Json, C++, .Net and application development.
  • Determine database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems;
  • Develop database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
  • Install database systems by developing flowcharts; applying optimum access techniques; coordinating installation actions; documents actions.
  • Have an understanding and experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Full knowledge and principles to build applications.
  • Provide data management expertise to the company by evaluating requirements and developing solution.

Experience, Education and Licensure:

  • Ability to train users and be resourceful with the ability to work independently.
  • Minimum of a BS or equivalent in business/computer science.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of Data Warehouse and BI/Analytics experience.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and other technical staff.
  • Experience using data visualization software tools a plus.

 Knowledge. Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to query and create reports from relational databases using SQL or standard report writing tools such as  Business Objects, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Integration Services and Analysis Services.
  • Ability to apply business and industry knowledge to internal applications, databases and systems.
  • Additionally, the position requires developing, reporting from, and integrating existing applications.
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence platform tools.
  • Must have the ability to write Json, C++ and .net.

You will be working at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California ensuring that all Tickets.com equipment in an assigned geographical area is well-maintained and quickly repaired when it breaks down.  You will accomplish this through regular preventive maintenance visits and troubleshooting/repairs by phone or in person.  You will be required to carry a cell phone at assigned times and respond promptly to any issues as well as provide support and training for all outlets.

What You’ll be responsible for:

  • Repair all Tickets.com system-related peripheral equipment. 
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair, as needed on all thermal ticket printers, computers, report writers, CRT’s, modems, terminal servers, ISDN and Frame Relay routers, and networking and data communications gear.
  • Troubleshoot repair problems via telephone.  Site visits can be reduced by effectively troubleshooting over the telephone.
  • Make regularly scheduled preventive maintenance visits to all assigned client and ticket center locations.
  • Continually improve understanding of current technical issues, devices and technologies associated with Tickets.com systems.  Ensure an understanding of Tickets.com system wiring, connectivity and methods for utilizing device indicators to assist in troubleshooting.
  • Provide support and training for all outlets.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, install and repair all Tickets.com equipment which may include but not limited to the following: Computers/mobile devices, peripherals such as printers, monitors, scanners, and phones for Tickets.com users.
  •  Perform quality checks on all repaired equipment items.
  •  Deploy, maintain and update desktop and laptop images and third party software packages.
  •  Install, modify computer software some of which may include but not limited to the following: Microsoft Office, Cisco any connect, Symantec, Adobe.
  •  Respond to end users who have general questions concerning hardware, software, network and other equipment.
  •  Assist in resolving trouble tickets via Service Now.
  •  Create, provide and maintain documentation of the various processes.

Looking for a high-energy results driven retail system support manager. The position is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and production support of all business applications used by the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club retail operations. Position requires experience with retail POS systems and knowledge of both front-end and back-end retail business processes. 

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Client Services Consultant who will serve as both a product and an industry subject matter expert, responsible for working with prospective and existing clients to support the installation, configuration and use of the Tickets.com product suite and the technologies that support them across internal functional teams.

The Client Services Consultant will work closely with clients to develop and implement best practices for their markets and manages the consulting process for each engagement, serving as a resource to the client and internal teams throughout a client’s implementation. The Client Services Consultant will be responsible for all aspects of a consulting engagement, including on and off-site product and operational consulting, product gap analyses, determining and defining the scope of any related data migration or conversion efforts and working with the Training team to develop a client-centric, engagement-specific training plan.

The Client Services Consultant will work closely with the Business Development, Product Management and Product Marketing teams to support pre and post-sale initiatives. The Client Services Consultant will work closely with the Project Management (PMO), Training and Configuration Management teams, leveraging other departments and resources, as necessary, to ensure the client’s success.

The Client Services Consultant will develop relationships with a variety of people from all levels in the client’s organization, acting as a key, high-profile contact with the client.

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with clients and across internal teams to ensure optimal delivery of all client servicing needs.

  • Prepare and maintain consulting materials and contribute to the consulting knowledgebase.

  • Work closely with clients, across functional teams, to conduct a comprehensive operational assessment, as required, to support implementation and professional services initiatives.

We are seeking a Systems Integration Analyst whose role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the integration of Tickets.com software programs and applications into client ticketing systems. This individual is responsible for planning and coordinating the processes required for the provision of user applications and systems necessary for successful integration of our client ticketing systems.  The Integration Analyst will also operate and tune systems, servers and other system integration components to ensure high levels of availability and security of Tickets.com applications.

Essential Functions:

  • Apply general knowledge of computer processes, technologies and systems in support of project team and customer issues/requests and completion of advanced to complex assignments.

  • Provide technical support for Field Technicians installing or configuring new equipment.

  • Direct the standardization of hardware configurations for Ticketing Services' client sites, outlets and area offices. 

  • Coordinate the return and/or repair of damaged or non-functioning equipment.

  • Document equipment configurations and configuration instructions.

  • Lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of Access Control, standards and procedures.

  • Develop relationships with Tickets.com hardware and software vendors to ensure our clients are receiving optimal support and pricing.

  • Accumulate extensive technical knowledge of assigned Tickets.com products.

  • Thorough understanding of product features, capabilities, standard error messages, operating systems, file relationships, compatibility’s, and complex software issues.

  • Administer and maintain assigned Tickets.com products, including deploying upgrades and troubleshooting at the system level.

  • Analyze client’s needs and adapt product offerings to meet requirements.

  • Manage project engagements and installations.

  • Design and perform QA tests of software and hardware for assigned Tickets.com products.

  • Assist in onsite integrations of Tickets.com products by providing technical analysis, acceptance testing, and face-to-face client training.

  • Provide tier 2 product support while triaging (identify, analyze, prioritize and classify) product deficiencies / enhancement requests and bug fixes. Develop and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Four year degree in IT, MIS, or Computer Science preferred or two year degree with two to four years’ experience, ideally in a project driven environment.

  • Basic knowledge of relational database concepts along with one or more of the following: SQL, VBScript PERL, JavaScript.

  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting (LAN) network equipment such as a wireless access point, router or managed switch.

  • Ability to work independently to complete complex projects.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Office, Visio, and Project.

  • Good writing skills for technical and non-technical documents.

  • Solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Experience in software support or face-to-face training.

  • Proficiency with troubleshooting and administering Windows based PCs and Servers.

  • Flexible schedule, alternating weekend and evening support with limited travel.

  • Requires a minimum of 1 year as a Tickets.com Product Analyst Associate or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill current primary responsibilities at a superior level of skill, knowledge, and expertise.

Senior Software Engineer - Tickets.com (Costa Mesa, CA)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will be an essential individual contributor within a project team, focusing on development of new products & features. This engineer will design, code and test medium to large software modules as they apply to a specific product. They will also perform requirements analysis, create functional designs, and detailed design specifications as they relate to the implementation of the software.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, code, and test medium to large software modules
  • Own short term planning of IT projects and programs, creating the requirements analysis, functional design, and detailed technical design specifications as they relate to the implementation of a software module
  • Participate in the development of larger modules which may also include collaboratively authoring requirements analysis, architectural designs, or detailed design tasks under the direction of a more experienced engineer
  • Write technical documentation
  • Develop software using at least one programming language and platform
  • Utilize source control tools and related build systems, pipelines, etc
  • Write & maintain unit & integration tests, contribute to CI efforts
  • Install and configure software development tools, packages, etc
  • Debug and correct problems in existing software
  • Estimate the complexity of a certain task and an appropriate schedule
  • Provide direction to less experienced engineers
  • Resolve complex software problems/bugs via advanced debugging techniques
  • Follow all company standards, including the software coding standards document

Technical Requirements:           

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent) is required
  • At least five (5) years of Java programming experience, object oriented analysis, design and programming
    • Candidate must have in depth knowledge of Jboss or similar J2EE container, Hibernate or another O/R mapping tool, native JDBC concepts and implementations
    • Candidate must have hands on experience with Spring MVC, JSP, JST, and related Java web container technologies
    • Experience in a J2EE application server environment utilizing JMS, JNDI, clustering, and related technologies
  • Experience in Oracle or other DBMS systems, very fluent in SQL & DML constructs critical
  • Experience in an enterprise transactional environment, integrating with TIBCO or a messaging bus product, a plus
  • Background in developing web services (REST, SOAP, etc.) for internal and external integrations critical
  • Experience with SOA or Microservices type environments, a plus
  • Experience in HTML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, etc client-side technologies critical
  • Experience developing with various third-party JavaScript libraries, such as Angular, React, jQuery, Prototype, Yahoo! UI, Dojo, Google, etc. a plus
  • Experience with reporting platforms / tools, analytics, etc a plus
  • Box Office Management or other ticketing experience a plus

Interpersonal Requirements:

  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees
    • Specifically to work cooperatively with software engineers, system administrators, product managers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently with little supervision and in a team environment
  • Experience as a group leader a plus
  • Must have a willingness and patience to teach others
  • Must be articulate and communicate effectively, both in written and oral formats, with a specific ability to author and communicate technical designs and documentation
  • Must practice regular & continued self-education
  • Exercise troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to maintain and meet schedules
