Sales & Marketing: Box Office Ticket Seller
Angels Baseball - Full-Time Ticketing Representative - Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Anaheim, CA)

Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Ticket Operations & Service, the full-time Ticketing Representative assists in the day-to-day operation of the Angels Baseball ticketing department.  This encompasses season tickets, mini-plan tickets, group tickets, and single game tickets sold in advance and on game days.

Duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service for Angels Baseball season ticket holders and all Angels patrons which includes but is not limited to:
    •  Processing invoice payments at lobby counter
    • Reprinting tickets (due to any number of reasons: left at home, lost, stolen, forwarded and not received etc)
    • Complaints
    • Questions
  • Work closely with the Sales Department in the processing and fulfillment of all orders, including “Tricklers”.
  • Build season ticket, mini plan, group and single suite ticket accounts, process their payments, and distribute the tickets.
  • Build group and single ticket accounts, process their payments, and distribute the tickets for non Angel Baseball Events. (e.g. motor sports, concerts etc.)
  • Prepare the daily income reconciliation and bank deposit (in the absence of the Ticketing Supervisor).
  • Primary resource to temporary and part-time staff for questions and routine problem solving.
  • Assist with invoicing and payment reconciliation from season seat holders.
  • Assist in the season ticket upgrade process.
  • Manage the shipment and tracking of all ticket mailings from the ticket office.
  • Maintain correct addresses in Archtics, Ticketmaster and the UPS shipping system.
  • Maintain accurate files of all correspondence and order forms for season accounts and all other ticket orders.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service, ticketing or ticketing operation experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with sports and entertainment industry preferred.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster (Classic and Archtics) or comparable system preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills by phone or in person.
  • PC literate in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Able to work long, unstructured hours (including nights, weekends and holidays).
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Administration/General Management: Office Manager
Angels Baseball - Part-Time Warehouse Assistant - Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Anaheim, CA)

Overview:

Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for materials procurement, inventory control, and disbursement. The Warehouse Assistant is also responsible for company-wide shipping and receiving, mail operations, distribution of supplies, and maintaining warehousing and storeroom areas.

Duties:

  • Coordinates receiving, inspecting and accepting a wide variety of materials and equipment in support of stadium services, as well as other departments
  • Responsible for picking up mail at the post office and completing internal distribution. Also, assists with the preparation of outgoing mail
  • Responsible for ensuring that MLB mandated security and documentation procedures are followed for all clubhouse incoming and outgoing packages and mail.
  • Assists Purchasing Manager by conducting research and gathering price quotations
  • Under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, places service and supply orders with vendors and contractors
  • Assists with the inventory and distribution of promotional items on game days
  • Ensures accurate inventories of supplies and materials, including electrical supplies and equipment, electronic equipment, custodial supplies, trades supplies and equipment, event set-up supplies, chemicals and fertilizers
  • Participates in the shelving and storing of a wide variety of materials and equipment and distribution of same to users
  • Operates office and warehouse equipment including computers, electric carts, and package handling equipment
  • Assists Purchasing Manager with developing shelving and loft material storage and retrieval standards and procedures
  • Maintains office supplies in various locations and departments

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possesion of or ability to obtain a valid Driver's License
  • Ability to use computers and tablets
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Facility Operations/Security: Parking Operations
Angels Baseball - Seasonal Parking Cashier - Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Anaheim, CA)

OVERVIEW

This Parking Cashier position is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue while providing exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner and in accordance with Company customer service expectations and established performance standards.  This position reports to the Parking Cashier Supervisors and Ballpark Operations. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Count the cash bank and ticket stock issued at the beginning shifts to ensure amounts are correct.

  • Demonstrate a customer-driven service style with a sense of urgency for accuracy, efficiency and customer service.

  • Answer guests’ questions and provide information on parking procedures and/or policies quickly and accurately to avoid traffic back up.

  •   Acknowledge and greet guests immediately with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor

  • Collect parking fees, make accurate change and issue a parking ticket for each paid vehicle entering into the parking lot

  • Accept pre-paid parking tickets and verify complimentary parking guests to the approved list

  • Have a working knowledge of Angels Baseball stadium parking policies and procedures

  • Maintain a professional appearance and standards in compliance with Company policy.

  • Follow booth operating and closing instructions as directed by the Parking Cashier Supervisors and/or Parking Cashier Captains.

  • Provide all cash collected to the Parking Cashier Supervisors and accurately reconcile tickets sold.

  • Present reconciliation report to a Parking Cashier Supervisor or Captain for final reconciliation and check-out process.

  • Other duties as assigned

     

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma

  • Prior experience balancing a cash fund, handling cash transactions and handling money

  • Must possess the ability to perform basic math skills, which include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to deal diplomatically with the public, fellow employees and supervisors

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to stand, walk, for extended periods of time; work in inclement weather

  • Flexible availability to permit scheduling during day, evenings, weekends and holidays

  • Must be able to pass background investigation screening
