Cardinals Care & Community Relations Summer Intern - St. Louis Cardinals (St. Louis, MO)

Summary of Responsibilities:

This Summer intern will assist the department with programs and initiatives that advance the mission of the charity and provide service to community programs and partnerships. The position will assist with in-season events and activities.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Assist with donation fulfillment, fan packs and pre-game activities on a daily basis.
• Assist with grants, mailings, inventory and customer service during department events.
• Provide support for all major department events; provide high level of customer service to assist department in managing events.
• Assist with programs in the community by providing additional logistical and administrative support during activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Current enrollment in an accredited program at a College or University required, at least Junior year.
• Experience in community outreach, and youth services preferred.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to stand on feet and walk comfortably for long periods of time.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Market Research Surveyor - St. Louis Cardinals (St. Louis, MO)

Summary of Responsibilities:
The purpose of the Market Research Surveyor is to administer various surveys to support the ongoing Marketing Research initiative. The surveys provide answers which assist the Cardinals organization in targeting our audience and market more efficiently.

Essential Functions of the Job:
• Administer numerous in-park surveys with every 5th person seen in the ballpark to gather useful information from fans regarding demographics, in-park programs, fan entertainment, media habits, customer service, and more.

Education and Experience Preferred:

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Registrar is responsible for data entry into PastPerfect, photograph all accessions and attach digital images to records, storage management, maintain standards for PastPerfect cataloging, ensure new keywording of records, and provide support to the curatorial team.  The Registrar is a full time position.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Process new accessions by cataloging into PastPerfect
  • Facilitate movement of objects to and from storage locations for museum purposes
  • Establish consistent use of key-wording for search terms in all PastPerfect records to comply with the Cardinals H5 Database
  • Resolve inconsistent cataloguing in PastPerfect, review information in catalog for accuracy, ensure information is entered

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in History, Museum Studies, or a related filed; or combination of years of experience and education
  • 3-4 years of registration or collection management experience
  • Knowledge of standard museum principles, practices, and procedures
  • Experience with PastPerfect museum software
  • Photoshop and photography skills
  • Experience in research
  • Strong evident of good character and personal responsibility
  • Knowledgeable in team history

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in History, Museum Studies, or a related filed; or combination of years of experience and education
  • 1-2 years of registration or collection management experience

Sales & Marketing: Ticket Sales
Ticket Sales Agent - St. Louis Cardinals, LLC (St. Louis, MO)

Summary of Responsibilities:

This part-time seasonal position will sell and service incoming ticket sales calls, emails, and chats while providing the highest level of customer service. The agent will act as a problem solver, working with the Ticket Sales department to resolve any customer issues.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Provide excellent customer service via all inbound portals of communication including but not limited to phone, email, and chat to maximize revenue for 2016 ticket sales, through excellent customer service and repeat customers.
  • Communicate and cooperate with Ticket Services to respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer issues in order to sell tickets at a higher per cap rate than other channels (web, windows, kiosks).
  • Cultivate new business and strengthen current associations with existing accounts through inbound sales.  Encourage effective communication to increase number of relationships.
  • Work in tandem with the Ticket Development, Fan Development, Season, Premium, and Group Sales departments to establish a seamless transition from sales to service.  Assist with inbound call volume to provide an opportunity for Ticket Development to perform outbound sales calls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • 1 Year experience in sales and/or sports industry.
  • Knowledge of Ticket.com Pro Venue ticketing platform.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Enrolled in or graduate of an accredited college or university.
  • Experience in sales and/or sports industry.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
