Position Summary

The role of the banquet cook is to safely prepare all banquet menu items for foodservice in a safe and sanitary environment.  The cook needs to be able to prep all bulk production for any banquet.  The cook needs to be able to prepare all food items while maintaining acceptable times.  The cook needs to be able to read a BEO(Banquet Event Order) and understand how to create firing times and panning assignments.  The cook needs to be able to follow standard recipes.   The cook needs to maintain a high level of performance, while ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability in accordance with the company’s service and operational standards.  The cook should follow the supervisor on duty.   

Essential Functions

  • Prepares all food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
  • Properly measures and assembles ingredients required for preparing the standard recipes
  • Cuts and/or portions meat, fish and poultry.
  • Uses scale to ensure proper portioning of food items and minimize waste of products.
  • Accepts or rejects ingredients based on quality and quantity.
  • Cleans, organizes, and maintains walk-in refrigerator, cooler drawers, prep and dry storage
  • Maintains work area in a clean, sanitary and safe manner
  • Understands and complies with food safety and temperature standards.
  • Assists with inventory control with proper production management to minimize waste

Community Relations Program Coordinator - St. Louis Cardinals (St. Louis, MO)

Summary of Responsibilities:

To facilitate the development of community programs, initiatives and corporate partnerships.  Plan and execute events surrounding these programs. Additionally, to support each aspect of the department in program development and implementation.

  • Administer the Kids and Varsity Clubs by handling day-to day operations, oversee the budget, and plan and execute the Kids Club Party and Varsity Club Day at the Ballpark.

  • Oversee the complimentary ticket program by communicating with the ticket sales department, updating the website, ensuring fulfillment and delivery, and answering all inquiries on the Community Relations e-mail and Community Ticket hotline.
  • Coordinate MLB and Community initiatives by facilitating all MLB sanctioned initiatives throughout the season, responding to inquiries from fans and media, work with local charities and organizations, identify future mutually-beneficial partnerships in the community, work  with the Director to develop the “Cardinals Ambassadors in the Community” program.
  • Work with each corporate sponsor on events to ensure fulfillment of contract obligations and be a support person for requests coming in from sponsors.
  • Assist in the planning and implementing of the Cardinals Care initiatives: 6K, Grants, Winter Warm-Up, Golf Tournament.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 2 years of marketing and/or sales experience.
  • Prior experience within the sports industry preferred

Position Summary

Essential Functions:

  • Greets and acknowledges guests
  • Answers guests’ questions and assists them whenever possible
  • Recommends, selects and helps locate or obtain merchandise for guests

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Concessions Manager and Level Supervisors, oversees operation of assigned concessions stand(s), including stock, sales and all cash receipts and supervises stand personnel, in accordance with the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards. 

Essential Functions:

·         Supervises and coordinates activities of stand attendants and cooks; trains and assigns duties within the stand to meet guest needs

·         Observes, evaluates and documents job performances of cashiers and stand attendants.

·         Picks up operating bank and enforces company cash handling procedures

·         Advises and enforces company policy, safety regulations and sanitation while maintaining a productive and enjoyable working environment

·         Ensures that all equipment in the stand is set up and operating efficiently and accurately
