POSITION: Sales Associate

SUMMARY: The inside sales team supports the Premium and Season Ticket Sales departments in selling all inventory including, but not limited to, premium, season tickets, mini plans, and group tickets. The Sales Associate will participate in a rigorous 10-12 month sales development program geared to prepare entry level candidates for a career within the Sports industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Identify and sell available ticket inventory by generating leads via inbound/outbound calls, meetings, in-game entertainment, and networking events.
• Participate in sales and retention efforts including, but not limited to, servicing and up-selling existing and new accounts.
• Manage interactions with clients and prospects utilizing a customer relationship management database (CRM).
• Participate in sales promotions and game day activities.
• All other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Bachelors’ degree preferred.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Office, and, outlook required.
• Prior experience working in sales, sports, or entertainment helpful, but not a prerequisite.
• Must have a strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sports.
• Requires strong customer service, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Requires a high level of written and verbal communication.
• Proven time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work long hours, as dictated by events.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Stadium environment.
• Extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• This is a temporary 10-12 month position.

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the management and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management database (CRM). Develop marketing programs with a focus on customer retention and loyalty development to maximize ROI. Serve as a liaison between the Yankees and MLB on all database projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, implement, and support the successful launch of a CRM database.
• Coordinate the internal acquisition client information (contact, demographic, lifestyle, etc.) via Stadium events, touch-points, Archtics, and other resources.
• Integrate data mining tools to maximize target segmentation, customer retention, and lead generation.
• Oversee the development and execution of sales campaign strategies, including direct mail, email, and web advertising.
• Analyze and measure the effectiveness of sales campaigns and ROI by conducting clustering analysis, predictive modeling, testing, and post-project analysis.
• Procure and integrate external consumer and corporate lists.
• Conduct periodic research as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 3-5 years experience in database marketing.
• Bachelors’ degree preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Archtics, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM applications required.
• Ability to analyze and manipulate data into clearly understandable end user reports.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans.
• Strong customer service, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work extended hours (including weekends, nights, and holidays).
