Affiliate Video Manager - New York Yankees (Tampa, FL)

Description: Coordinate video, advance scouting, and travel needs for assigned affiliates during the season.  Assist Amateur and International Scouting departments with video needs and other various projects throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

·        Chart Major League and Minor League games throughout Spring Training to provide video and data

·        Capture non game video throughout Spring Training (bullpens, BP and drills)

·        Coordinate all aspects of break camp travel and itinerary for players and staff going to affiliates

·        Chart every home and away game throughout the season

·        Manage all aspects of affiliate travel including, flights, hotels and buses

Associate, Baseball Operations - New York Yankees (Bronx, NY)

Description: This position is a rigorous 12-month program geared to prepare entry level candidates for a career within the Baseball Operations industry.

Responsibilities:

·        Coordinate and prepare advance scouting material for the New York Yankees

·        Support the Manager, Baseball Operations with daily logistical tasks of the Baseball Operations department, as well as complete projects as called upon by the Baseball Operations and Pro Scouting staff

·        Chart select games from video, as well as execute additional video projects

·        Assist with various research tasks

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree required

  • Maintain organize and complete files of all news clippings, briefs and stories involving all New York Yankees players, coaches and front office matters

  • Amicably respond to requests from fans and members of the media involving questions about Yankees' history, statistical information, or other general matters that need attention

Baseball Operations: Player Personnel/Scout
iOS Developer, Baseball Operations - New York Yankees (Bronx, NY)

Description:
The New York Yankees organization is accepting applications for an experienced mobile application developer in their Baseball Operations department. Candidate should have 3-5 years experience developing mobile applications in Objective-C using the iOS SDK. Candidates should possess not only the technical skills but the design sensibilities needed to create a compelling and efficient user experience. 

Primary Responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with the team to define, design and ship new features

·        Develop and maintain applications for iPads (iOS) written in Objective-C & Swift

·        Ensure the performance, quality & responsiveness of applications

·        Fix bugs and identify issues with existing codebase and fix them

·        Continue to find ways to automate the build and deploy process

·        Writing tests alongside code to maintain solid builds are deployed

Qualifications and Experience:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

·        3-5 years of specific iOS development experience and a demonstrated high proficiency in developing mobile applications for iOS

·        Solid understanding of Objective-C

·        Must be proficient in Swift
