Account Executive, Premium Seating Sales and Service - Pittsburgh Pirates (Pittsburgh, PA)

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for selling high end luxury suite/premium seating inventory including full and partial plan multi-year agreements to corporations and businesses while continuing to develop new business.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Sell luxury suites/premium seating to corporations and individuals.
• Develop sales plan including prospecting events.
• Develop relationships with businesses in the area.
• Present proposals.
• Execute sales plan.
• Close luxury suite multi-year agreements and premium seating business.
• Work with Corporate Partner Account Executives to capitalize on sales process.
• Generate leads via prospecting, networking and cold calls.
• Contribute to marketing and advertising plan for suite sales.
• Secure multi-year suite agreements.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM regarding activities and sales.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Director, Ticket Sales and Service.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Sports Marketing or equivalent experience
• Five (5) to ten (10) years of sales experience
• Extensive client base

Desired Qualifications:
• Luxury suite or premium seating sales experience
• Experience within a professional sports environment
• Experience within Microsoft Office

Sales & Marketing: Ticket Operations
Manager, Ticket Operations - Pittsburgh Pirates (Pittsburgh, PA)

Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all facets of the Ticket Operations Department. This includes ticket order processing, printing, and distribution as well as accurate and timely daily reports.


Primary Responsibilities
• Create and provide detailed, accurate reports for management and staff use. This can include Full Season Equivalency, Daily Ticket Sales and Attendance reports from the Ticketing Software, post game recap reports, attendance, drop count and walk up sales reports, as well as sales, renewals and event summaries.
• Handle all complimentary ticket requests, which involves processing all staff requests, preparing complimentary ticket allotments and processing all early ticket requests approved by the Senior Director, Ticket Sales and Service.
• Process all special ticket requests, including Executive Department requests, VIP ticket purchases and front office staff ticket requests for clients and associates.
• Work closely with the Corporate Sales Department, handling all corporate sponsor ticket requests, including contract orders, season, group and individual game accounts.
• Coordinate season ticket and individual ticket stock printing, which includes setting up a time line with the printing company taking into account numerous season ticket plans, suites, sponsors and complimentary accounts.
• Schedule ticket office staff within organizational guidelines while providing necessary coverage for events.
• Coordinate season and individual ticket event set-up with ticketing vendor, which requires providing season plan events, discount codes and prices.
• Provide customer service on ticketing questions from individual, seasonal, group and corporate customers.
• Conduct the preparations for Florida Spring Training Ticketing, which includes: providing season, individual and parking events to ticketing vendor; ordering Spring Training ticket stock; and checking seating manifest for McKechnie Field in accordance with the Ticketing System.
• Continue to advance technology in Ticket Office.
• Monitor all seat inventory including holds to maximize ticket sales revenue opportunities.
• Balance all facets of ticket office and its systems.
• Work as liaison with ticket system vendor to ensure organizational ticket system needs are met.
• Provide on-going training to box office staff as well as union ticket sellers.
• All other duties as assigned by the Senior Director, Ticket Sales and Service.
• Schedule the Ticket Office Assistants in TMSS scheduling software to coincide with the access card and correct the daily login errors for payroll accuracy.


Required Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years ticket office experience with a professional sports organization
• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)


Desired Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge of Tickets.com and/or Archtics ticketing software
• 2 Years of accounting experience
