Game Production Assistant - Goodyear Ballpark - Spring Training home of the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds (Goodyear, AZ)

Goodyear Ballpark is gearing up for the upcoming Spring Training season. We are looking for a Game Production Assistant who will be responsible for monitoring game progress while operating all production equipment including sound system, video system and scoreboard. Assist with coordination of game production elements including, scripts, PA announcements, video board graphics, music, pregame on-field activities and use of a mascot. This position would be responsible for troubleshooting issues with equipment as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating electronic video board equipment such as Daktronics or Click Effects, ideally in a sports venue. The ideal candidate for this position will have great customer service and communication skills, and the ability to keep focus on game progress.

Open until filled 

Hiring Salary: $12.00 hourly

Public Address (PA) Announcer - City of Goodyear - Cleveland Indians & Cincinnati Reds Spring Training (Goodyear, AZ)

Goodyear Ballpark is the spring training and player development home of the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds

The Public Address (PA) Announcer is responsible for being the voice of Goodyear Ballpark during Cleveland Indians and/or Cincinnati Reds spring training home games. This person will be required to announce all promotions, general information and correctly pronounce player and sponsor names. The ideal candidate will have a great professional speaking voice with high energy and enthusiasm at all times. Candidates must be able to multitask, keep track of player changes and game progress and have a solid understanding of the game of baseball.

Experience:
Prior experience with public address announcing for a major sports organization/venue preferred.

Hours:
The 2017 spring training season consists of 33 home games, played from February 25 through March 29. This position requires open availablilty for the entire season, including day, night and weekend games as well as training in late February. Game schedule will be divided among announcers. 

Start Date: week of February 20, 2017

Type: Contracted

Compensation: $95 per game

Goodyear Ballpark is the Spring Training and player development home of the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds

The RF Camera Operator handles and operates the wireless camera during Spring Training games at Goodyear Ballpark. Responsibilities include capturing fan shots, setting up promotional footage, interacting with the fan base and coordinating with production booth staff to enhance the overall fan experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating video equipment, ideally in a major sports venue. Good customer service and communication, friendly, positive and ability to keep focus on game progress is preferred.

This recruitment will be used to fill Temporary Maintenance Workers for our Spring Training & Player Development Home for the Cleveland Indians and the Cincinnati Reds.  The length of this temporary assignment will vary. Temporary Maintenance Workers provide assistance to full time Ballpark staff in the areas of field and landscape maintenance, janitorial duties, all non sporting event set up and break down, and all other duties as assigned.  No experience is required.  The hours of work will vary including afternoons and weekends.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to thrive in a high work volume environment and also be flexible with work schedules.
