A designated group leader, this person will be in charge of the assigned location from open to close.

Do you provide training?
Yes, all volunteers must attend orientation/training classes which include proper service of alcohol as well as how to operate the stand and equipment.

What are the report times for each game?
Volunteers must begin to report 3 1/2 hours before the event begins. The length of the game varies, but most volunteers should be finished by one hour after the last out.

Home Games- There are 6-10 photographers working every Mets home game. You are not required to work every game but we do request that you are available to work 75% of games during each homestand.  Each photographer has a specific section of the park during pre-game and in-game. We require our photographers to be here 2 hours prior to game time to shoot the pre-game crowds. We usually shoot until the 7th inning.  Shifts are approximately 3.5-5 hours long and you are on your feet moving around the stadium and interacting with fans the entire time.  We also feature a green-screen station for our fans.  Other photography opportunities may become available throughout the season.
General-We provide shirts and all digital SLR camera equipment. All you need is to bring is yourself and an outgoing, positive attitude. Some photography experience is helpful but not required. Additionally, the CR Trainee will have the opportunity to develop organizational skills as s/he works with full-time staff as they work to meet the needs of the team&amp;rsquo;s fans and local constituents.
Tasks and Duties:

    Work with CR Coordinator to ensure all community tickets are distributed in a timely and organized fashion.
    Distribute all in-kind donations to community groups.
    Distribute community requests to the appropriate CR staff person.
    Monitor generic CR email account and distribute messages as appropriate.
    Join CR staff in meetings with community and civic groups.
    Greet and escort visitors to the proper areas of the ballpark.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Renews and retains season ticket accounts on an annual basis.
    Coordinates and executes sales calls on any and all potential customers through cold calling, prospecting and referrals from current customers.
    Attains individual and department sales goals as set by the Director, Ticket Sales and VP | Managing Director, Sales &amp;amp; Marketing.
    Conducts sales related activities in the field and the office as assigned.
    Ability to network with the region&amp;rsquo;s top decision makers.
    Maintains computerized records of all suite, premium seating, season ticket and group clients and prospects in company database (Microsoft CRM).
    Visits and hosts prospects and customers during home games.
