Manager, Ticket Operations - Texas Rangers Baseball Club (Arlington, TX)
Daily Job Responsibilities
Supervise the balancing and reporting of all receipts for Ticket Operations staff’s transactions
Assist in renewal process for season tickets including invoicing, inventory management, and distribution of all season ticket plans.
Supervise distribution of in-house voucher program including maintaining distribution database of foundation groups.
Supervise the set up of internet group ticket customers (Business to Business groups) through contact with Group Sales Department and Tickets.com
Assist Community Marketing Department in sales for any Texas Rangers Foundation Events via contact with other Ticket Operations staff, Sales staff and Tickets.com
Secondary contact with Tickets.com in regards to maintaining operations of ticket system (ProVenue Elite)
Assist in set-up of events, individual promotions, and fee structure with MLBAM
Work with Box Office Supervisor to ensure staff is aware of all individual game ticket promotions
Perform additional ticket operations duties as assigned
Game Day Responsibilities
Manage the main box office on game nights including supervision of all ticket sellers and will call personnel
Provide tickets sales data and attendance figures for management for each Texas Rangers home game
Perform customer service duties in management role at main box office
Maintain relationship with box office staff to provide them with proper information for day of game sales
Perform additional game night ticket operations duties as assigned
Qualifications
College degree
Proficient with various computer software, especially ticketing software (Tickets.com ticketing systems preferred) and Excel.
Focus on customer service with at least two years ticket operations experience preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, include evenings, weekends and holidays
Able to work independently and as an effective team member
